With that said, they're still adding coal capacity, so lots of solar, wind, and battery storage to deploy to destroy demand for existing and new thermal generation (208GW of coal, 25GW of fossil gas as of this comment per Electricity Maps). Have to reach low carbon deployment escape velocity.

They can start exporting to other countries who are wary of China.
Note this facility in India was the biggest in the world a few years back
