‘ Radvinsky was famously secretive and avoided giving interviews, but built his fortune after a shady early career in which he made websites that claimed to direct users to porn content involving underage children or bestiality—though Forbes found no evidence these websites actually linked to such content—with Radvinsky making money off of every click.’
I don't think many people will mourn the passing of a highly politicized pornmonger. But his death at 43, of cancer, should be a reminder to everyone to take care of themselves, and their friends and family.
The only fans business model is based on a scam. Content creators hire companies (staffed by men in low income countries) to respond to chats 24hrs a day. Their job is to upsell premium content. There was a fantastic expose on here a year or so ago where a journalist signed up and did it for months. Men desperate for a sexual connection chatting with what they think are porn stars but are actually men desperate for income.
All to enrich a multi-billionaire with no moral compass. I suppose there’s nothing more emblematic of the abuses inherent in unrestrained capitalism than that.
The worst thing you can think of is relatively wealthy people wasting their largely disposable income to pay much worse off people? Because some other even richer guy takes his cut?
Worth noting that he was the #1 donor to AIPAC: https://forward.com/news/580248/donations-aipac-has-raised-s...

The #1 donor to AIPAC, everyone.

Main problem is that quite often it's not disposable income, but debt.
Even assuming that's true, I would think that it's probably still end-to-end positive, given just how poor the chat workers must be.
It's a bit like how people bemoan sweatshops. Killing the sweatshops just punts those people back to something worse.
Only knew the name because of his repulsing businesses and business practices before OF, can't say I am sad that he is gone.
