Is this not putting the cart before the horse? AI content can succeed because the world is indifferent to slop, perhaps even rewards it. Enshittification and planned obsolescence both come to mind as processes that reduce the quality of an existing good which the market still rewards.
Netflix dumbing down movies and series with constant reminders of previous events due to the audience not paying attention because they are on their phones while watching also comes to mind.
