Don't know what they wanted to convey but I don't like that pure diesel cars are in the 51% bucket instead of the 49% one.
I imagine the diesel car number is almost negligible, given the price of diesel these days.

You are right, of course, and the curve won't really pass the 50% line on the graph for another few weeks or months.
But do you care about exactly when it passes?
It’s more curiosity as I live in Norway, a place where ICEs are kinda obsolete.
